-Spider-Verse Part 4 hits with a bang!! It also ends with one too, but we'll get to that later. It is full out WAR between the Inheritors and the Spider-Verse! Last issue, we witnessed the coming of the big pappa Inheritor, Solus, and boy did he make an impact! This issue finds the Inheritors in control and the Spideys are off and running to try and just stop getting killed. Easier said than done.
The Good: LOTS & LOTS of good stuff here, people! There's a ton of story going on in this issue, and if you read the satelite titles, you'll get even more out of the issues than if you don't, but God bless Dan Slott for writing in the style that he does, so if you do NOT read the other titles, you are not going to be lost at all. We're all over this issue. About 7 different Earths, The Inheritors world, where some REALLY interesting stuff happens, and finally, an Earth that's just been wiped clean by an unfortunate incident, where you're jaw will REALLY drop (and no, I'm not spoiling the ending)!!!
The Bad: It doesn't really fall into the category of "bad", but I prefer the art of Olivier Coipel or Humberto Ramos over the art of Giuseppe Camuncoli. Again, he's NOT bad at all, I just like my art a little more "bold" than the style of Camuncoli.
What you should do: BUY IT OF COURSE!!! RIGHT NOW!!! This is one you're gonna have to see to believe (assuming you haven't been spoiled all ready).

Marvel Legends Spider-Man 2015 wave!!!!!!
Thanks to Asian Toy Retailer, robotkingdom.com we have our first look at the upcoming Marvel Legends Spider-Man 2015 series! This series includes, Anti-Venom, Ultimate Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew), Spider-Girl (May "Mayday" Parker), Spider-Man 2099, Classic Spider-Man and Daredevil! Not only that, but the build-a-figure is a pretty awesome, if not grainy looking, Hobgoblin!!
-I would guess these would be on toy shelves sometime in early April, but don't quote me on that. I think all the figures look great, but I do feel a little bad that Daredevil is ALWAYS crammed in with a Spider-Man line. He has MORE than enough villians and supporting characters to have his own line PLUS what I would bet would be a pretty awesome Kingpin build-a-figure.
-Now, I really don't have any problems or complaints with this line, but I really would like to see some classic Spidey villain Legends. How awesome would a Jackal figure be? A Sandman? Abner Jenkins Beetle? And please, PLEASE I need a Puma figure!!!

-Welcome to part 3 of Spider-Verse!! The Inheritors are loose and making their way across the Multiverse eating up Spider-Beings!!!!...No, I just can't bring myself to say/type "Totems". But, Spidey 616 is putting together a plan to get everyone to safety, all the while trying to avoid The Superior Spider-Man from taking control of the group and heading everyone into what is sure to be a disaster!
The Good: What's better than 1 Spider-Man? How about like 30!!! OK, so they're not all MEN, but you get the gist. I gotta tell you, I'm REALLY loving this crossover. It's one of the few Marvel crossovers in recent history that actually works AND is entertaining! You've got all the different Spider-People all working together towards their very survival! Plus, we get some great focus on some of the less spotlighted characters this issue(and even more if you read the spin-offs, but we'll review them later), and some foward movement in the main plot of the story. Coipels art is, as per usual, fantastic!! The book looks great and each Spider-Person/Creature looks uniquely different, all the while maintaining a solid look that makes them easily coexist in the "same" universe. But, the best part? We get to visit THE most AWESOME Spider-Man universe in the HISTORY of the character!! I truly NEVER thought that I'd see this in comic book form in my lifetime!!
The Bad: Hmmmmm. I'm a little torn on this one. But, gun to my head, I'd have to say I'm a little tired of the mystery of The Inheritors. I'm assuming there's some big reveal coming that tells their origin (but, maybe not), but just REVEAL IT ALL READY!!!! It's almost oft-putting that we have pretty much no clue as to the motivation of these characters beyond the fact that they like to hunt things with Spider-Powers and that they need to eat them. Again, I'm guessing a big reveal about them is coming, but a little more info on these big baddies would be nice.
What you should do: BUY IT!!! Yes, it's part 3 of a mega-crossover and you probably want to get the whole thing. BUT, left to it's own design, is it worth the $4? The answer is a great big YES!!!!! You'll definitely get your money's worth out of this issue!!

Welcome!!!!!!
I'd like to welcome everybody to Spidermanisamenace.com!! On behalf of the team(who you'll meet down the road), I'll like to invite you all to subscribe to the blog via email, and follow us on twitter.
-Before we get to some content, I'd like to tell you a little about what we intend to do here, and that is bring you the last, most up to date Spider-Man news possible.
-Yes, we're well aware that they are MANY sites devoted to our favorite wall crawler, but what separates us from some other Spidey sites out there is that we generally LOVE Spider-Man. What I mean by that, as you'll see in comic reviews, is that we give each and every Spider-Man comic, movie, cartoon episode, ect. a fair shake. We're not immediately going to put down everything just because it's not the Spider-Man that was around when we were a kid. Times change, people change, characters change, and comic books change. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse, but we will always remain impartial and optimistic about anything that crosses our desk. There's a lot of Spider-Man sites out there, that are REALLY negative, and we're here as the alternative to them. In all of our coverage, we promise to be as impartial and diplomatic as we can. Does that mean we'll blindly love everything? Nope. Not by a long shot. BUT, what we won't do, is go on and on about how awful a creator or book is, just because it's not what WE think Spider-Man should be.
-So, with that said, we're glad to have you here, and we're gonna do our best to give you our best, as often as we can. The site will be updated 2 to 3 times a week(more or less depending on how much news is out there), so check back often. In the meantime, I'd love to hear from you and any feedback about what you'd like to see/not see on the site, so feel free to drop me a line at jimmy@spidermanisamenace.com
-Until then, kick back, and enjoy this awesome Spider-Man "movie"!!
